These are made in size 20 thread, the smallest I have ever worked with. A bit of a pain but worth it because these turned out so nice.

:yay These are very pretty. I love doing doilies. I am working on a 36" doily now, using size 30 thread. Very small. I am using a Clover hook. They are easier on the hands.

:knit I couldn't find a crochet one, so I had to use the k___ symbol. I am on row 30 of 60 rows. Once, I made a huge round tablecloth with the pinwheel and pineapples for some friends that paid me to make it. It turned out beautiful and they loved it and still use it. I would consider I am a novice. I looked at your blog and you have some nice things. I see you have taught your DD to crochet also. That is good. My Mother tried to teach me when I was young, but I would rather be outside playing and wouldn't go past just making a chain. When I got married and settled down, that was when I got the learn how books and taught myself, back in the 70's. Then, I haven't had time for over 20 years. Having to reteach myself again.

I am new to Crochetville, so please bear with me if I do things wrong. Like I forgot to introduce myself before I posted to you.

They are very pretty and the more you use size 20 the more you'll like it. Doilies always look better in the thinner threads. I just love 20 and 30. Someday, I'll get the courage up to try thinner threads like Kathy does. LOL>

Thanks for sharing. You did a wonderful job.

Pam
