I am new here. I joined the local lace guild this past summer and started working on what we call "the three yard club". In looking for patterns I have been brushing up/relearning the basic stitches.So far I have done granny squares and just finished a simple double crochet afghan for a Christmas gift. All of these have been done with yarn, a long way from thread but I guess you have to start somewhere.
