Felted Fall Purse

I made this purse and like it very much, however I do see room for improvement.

The body is made of Bernat Lana wool (Thanx Lynlee), and the leaf motifs are made of Kathmandu Greenlands Collection DK (YUMMY) , thanx Natalie and Fran for the leaf-y help....and the swirly bits are Berroco denim in two shades....The leaves were crocheted then sewn on and the swirls were embroideried on.

Is this suitable for a gift?

I know if it were for me, I'd be very pleased to receive it. You did a very nice job. I love fall leaves but never thought of putting them on one of my bags! very cute
