While I'm at it I have to brag that blondie, the one holding her, has already completed 2 belts, a slipper, a purse and a sweater for mable, the dog:hook

Thank you everyone, I just love teaching my girls to crochet, you cant start to early, my oldest are 6 and 8 and they have completed several projects.

Oh, how cute!

I am a little jealous of your yarn basket.....my Mom had one just like that! It got damaged a long time ago. It brought back great memories!

I just love that basket, we inherited it from dh's grandmother, I was thrilled to get it, it is very old.

Aww, what sweeties!

I was at my sister's house the other week and my 5-year-old asked me to teach her to crochet. I tried but she was having trouble wrapping the yarn. I guess a few more lessons are in order but I'm glad she's interested.

That pic of Anna is too cute! I love the plastic hook in her hand. And her older sister is a sweetie, too!

I'm currently trying to teach my 9- and 6-yr-old sons how to crochet. They're still having problems getting past the slip knot, but I told them to be patient and keep working at it and it'll come.

My daughter, who will be one Nov. 21, loves to get into my hooks and yarn. When I'm crocheting, she'll climb up on the couch and demand a hook and her own yarn. I have yet to get a picture, but she's so funny!
