Mother Bears

Here are my first Mother Bears of the year for the Mother Bear Project. It is always fun to crochet these little bears for the children.

The one on the left was crocheted using up some scrap yarns and then the right one I did a belt. Because you can't use any buttons or added metals, I stitched a belt buckle.

Awww, they are adorable and brought a smile to my face!  I immediately thought of younger years when it was cool to wear wild patterned pants with a matching solid top.  That fashion is back with wild patterned yoga pants, so she is styling.  The belt buckle detail on the other one is just perfect, too.  :D

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments on my Mother Bears. I love this charity and it is so rewarding to make bears and then see the photos of them in Africa with a child who received it.
