Pretty In Pink Baby Layette

Here is my first baby layette.  It's for a friend that asked me for booties, but I couldn't do just booties!    Plus I needed to practice for my grandchild due next year.  Hopefully I'll find out if my grand baby is going to be a girl or boy soon, so I can get to work on lot's of baby items.

 

 

It's hard to see, but there are miniature rosebuds near each bow.

Yeah, I've been collecting pattern books and free patterns for 2 months, ever since I found out I was going to be a grandma again!  I wasn't crocheting when my first grandchild was born, although I made her a quilt and matching pillow for her birth and have crocheted a lot for her this year.  I'm so excited to crochet baby items!  I've got it all planned out in one pile for a boy and in another pile for a girl.  LOL

Super Cute....:O) Yes baby items are addictive to crochet you can usually do a sweater in a couple of hours vs days ....That is why I like baby items instant gratification....
