Hello, I'm new here!

I just joined today, and I must say this looks like a really nice place. (Kudos to whoever designed the layout, btw--the colors are yummy! )

 

I am sort of new to crochet and sort of not. I originally learned the basics back in 1972 (hmmm, did I just date myself?), but only made one simple project (although I started others that I'm sorry to say never did get done ) and then didn't crochet at all for years. I've just come back to the craft in the last couple of months, after not picking up a crochet hook for close to 20 years. I have been refreshing my skills on the basics and look forward to eventually moving beyond that and learning how to make some cool stuff.
