very basic styles. This is about as complex as my sewing machine and I can get along together for. Though I've made a "boho maxi dress" (online tute) and maxi skirt...sew a rectangle, put in elastic...use jersey, no hemming....but I have no full-length mirror, so I need hubby's help for pics there.

Anyway, these are a bit of a tradition here. Every birthday, the kids get a new pillowcase. Some weeks before, they pick out their fabrics. This year DS and DD picked their fabric out the same day, though their days are months apart. whatever works. DD picked a flannel (which is hot for summer, but will be cozy in winter). and DS picked out the cotton print above it.
