Christmas Ornament

So I signed up to send an ornament from my state to the troops. I looked an found a cowboy boot but the pattern was not good. I thought & looked & nothing was interesting me. So my husband said make a so and so So here is the little guy or girl. It took me forever to get it this good so if you think it's bad please shhh I don't want to hear it lol

I thought it was an armadillo. Over here in Florida - ours are a medium brown - kinda like coffee with cream colored.

It does look exactly like an armadillo -- but it has its eyes open! LOL! We lived in Florida for like 2 years and I told my husband that I'd seen plenty of armadillos but they were all dead ones. I have now as we moved to the country about 20 years ago. But it was a standing joke for a while that I'd never seen a live one.
