I just started learning to crochet 4 or 5 months ago. My mom tried teaching me when I was younger, but since she's right-handed and I'm left-handed, it was hard for me to catch on, so I gave up.

This year, I decided to buy a book for left-handers and try learning that way. My first chain took hours to complete... I couldn't get it to look like the one in the book, but I later found out that this was due to the yarn I was using. :D

Anyway, I am now officially obsessed with crocheting.:manyheart

After rediscovering crochet and browsing around to see how people do it the right way, I had a feeling I was holding the hook in the wrong way... All the videos online show people holding the hook like a pen. I can't hold it like this, so I always feel I'm on the wrong lane or something :)

I am very curious how left-handed crochet is like...!

Welcome!
