Crochet version of Victoria Bag

Several weeks ago I asked for help in figuring out a stitch pattern/technique that would mimic the knitting in the 'Victoria Bag" found here http://knitwise.typepad.com/Victoria_knitted_bag.pdf

 

I ended up using a single crochet combined with a treble so that the treble folded over on itself and formed a bump. I charted the pattern out and found out how much work goes into pattern making.

 

I've sent an email to the original owner of the knitted purse and am including photos here.

 

I want to say thank you again to the folks who responded to my 'cry' for help:D

 

 

Now that this bag is made, I'm working on the felted tres roses bag for my Mom and an afghan for my long-suffering, extremely patient husband.
