I have crocheted exactly one hour in 5 weeks. And my cooking has been really sporadic lately, too.

 

Glad I'm not alone Good job Gracie on the sit command

 

Well Mom has only been here for 3 days, and she's already repaired an heirloom crocheted tablecloth that belongs to a friend of mine. She's certainly living up to her username!!! It's really great having her here, and Ayden definately is enjoying the time with his grandma!

 

She is an amazing force, indeed

Nicole ~ You sure had a busy weekend with a Casino trip, T-Ball and yardwork! Your scarf turned steering wheel cover looks great.

 

 

I sure hope I haven't missed anyone - if I haven't responded to anyone reporting squares, please let me know! I plan on staying home (or close by) this week and getting some things accomplished. Parents and MIL are okay at the moment.

 

Miss Gracie had her first Puppy Obedience class Sat. She just wanted to play with the other puppies and fell asleep on my foot the last 15 minutes of the class. At least we know she gets along well with people and other dogs. I'll try and post some pictures later.

 

Thanks! I'm making a new one now. The other was a little too bulky. So, it's back to being a scarf. I'm almost done with the actual steering wheel cover.

Mary, yes she loves yarn, plastic bags, headphone cords... just to name a few.

 

I am still trying to fit a little crochet in here and there. Everyone have a blessed day!

 

She definitely sounds like my Jack in that department. It's a cat thing, I think, but he's crazy about anything that dangles.

I need to get more yarn, too. I don't have enough to finish out my angel.

Well I never did get my cooking done yesterday My sister started emailing me. I just hate to step away when she has the time to actually talk.

 

But that's on the agenda for today I might, just might, even get a little crocheting done today

 

Good to hear that you had a chance to chat with your sister. Any crocheting?!?!

 

I'm not sure if I should make a list, I might scare myself. I am making dishcloths and bottle carriers for a sale end of the month, a CRW, a couple of secret projects, a baby sweater, the LTKA (which I am way behind on, so don't tell Krystal ), the chocopink saltine ghan and some other things I have hidden away.

 

Gracie is so sweet.

That's fantastic that they are having so much fun together! Maybe she should come visit me next to get a few things fixed. Enjoy the time together! I'm so lucky to have my mom close.

Well, Jackson is really messing with his paw today. It looks a lot better, but it must be itchy or something. I keep having to stop him from licking it. I don't want it to start bleeding again. I'd hate to have to put him back on an antibiotic.

Been really busy here but now that schools out for the Grandkids life should go back to normal for me...I wont need to make sure they are up for the bus...they can go home at night with there mom.

 

Got enough saltines done to do another 2 rounds now so off to sew them together now.

Yes, I'm working (sort of) on a version of the old Union Squares quilt right now. I'm just having motivational issues

I'm feeling a bit punk today But it's the day after medication day. I forgot to take it during the day yesterday and took it last night. Think I'll be taking it easy today. Maybe I'll actually stay put and crochet for a change

Hi, everyone. I'm really enjoying being here with Joy and Ayden. I got to babysit last night and put Ayden to bed, while Joy went to an aquarium growers meeting. Talk about a real live-wire. Ayden chatters almost nonstop most of the time and can be a perpetual motion machine for hours on end. He's a delightful child.

 

I'm going to the doctor this afternoon. I think John & Kim managed to give me what they've had for the last 3 - 4 weeks. My head and chest are congested and my left ear hasn't popped since I got here. My voice is partially gone, too. Thinking of a 2 hour plane ride with my head this way is not a pleasant prospect. Hopefully they can give me something to clear it up some before Saturday night.

 

More later.

 

PS. I came up with a pattern for another snowflake yesterday.

She is definitely a cutie pie I love dogs but they're just too needy for me. This is why I keep cats. But I do miss the affection of a dog. My hat's off to all successful dog owners

Cara, I know what you mean by dogs being "needy"...that's Sparkie, personified!! Susie, on the other hand, likes being off by herself and comes over for affection only occasionally.

SDR says that she's the cat Sparkie won't ever allow me to have in the house!
