hi im aimee and i just foound out about this site 15 minutes ago after posting for crochet items on freecycle. i hope to have lots of fun and get back into this craft again. my fav things to make are potholders and scarves cause they r quick and easy. i made one afghan and dont think i am ready to undertake that again lol.

Welcome, for me I guess I’m just the opposite, most of what I’ve done have been afghans. To me there is just something substantial about making an afghan for someone. The first item I made might be called something like a potholder; that is if you are really lax on what a potholder should look like. I found a great buy on a bunch of cotton yarn, and I cooked a turkey breast for dinner last night, and I thought to my self, I’m glad no one but me has to look at these things, so I think you just talked me into making some potholders, thanks for the inspiration.
