Cats in Shades Illusion Scarf

I made this for my SIL who loves cats. When she first saw it, she liked it but when she really saw it, she loved it. I used Wool Ease Black and White/Multi.

I peeked earlier when you linked something else. I couldn't figure out what the pattern was until you said cats and now I can't see anything else but cats.

 

Is that front and back of same scarf or 2 scarves? I'm impressed if they're 2 but amazed if it's one...

Thank you both. John that is one scarf the same side. I folded it as if it were to be worn around the neck because I wanted to see what it would look like if you were wearing it. Can't tell as you are making it until you walk away from it!
