Donna wow you will be making squares forever. hehe. I just love making the itty bitty squares. Its so easy to take anywhere to do.

 

If I can win that book on the auction I will make one of those patterns. I do like everyones designs on here as well. So hard to choose.

I know what you mean. I think picking the pattern is the hardest part of doing these quiltghans. I definitely will be making these squares forever. They are so fun and you can do so much with them. I'm sure I'll have some of you ladies keeping me company with the squares though. So I won't be alone with my squares.

This auction is for a picture afghan pattern book, some are knitted and the rest are crocheted.

Great patterns in there and a few of them are patterns using the itty bitty squares we all like. There is one of a castle, grandpas farm, elephant and a camel under a tree, a desert, butterfly, flowers, sailboats on the sea.I really like grandpas farm. It finishes in 10 hours which is my 4am.

Holy Moly, that's a lot of afghans - and some very nice ones too. Of course 2 that really caught my eye are knit ones, but I really like some of the saltine ones too. Are you gonna go for it Wendy?

 

I already know what I will be attempting for this CAL - not an original design, but one I think is beautiful - Prairie Star - and I AM doing it in fall colors.

Hmmm....there are actually several copies of that book on auction at eBay. Now I just saw the front cover and I think I actually have that book Just don't remember looking at the inside yet. I do that sometimes. You find things at the charity shops or yard sales and years later finally look in them

Judy howdy doody. thankya thankya. yeah I was worried that someone would bid while I was sleeping but I did put a huge max bid on it just in case.

There are a few afghan stitch patterns in there that I might try using the sc stitch instead. I still want to make one of those as well. hmm did I say I was only going to stick to 10 wips.
