Deb, what pattern did you use for your slippers, if you don't mind my asking.

And, um... return yarn????? Are you feeling okay? You better go lie down for a little while until the feeling passes!!!

You're right. RETURN YARN?? What was I thinking???

Julie: I used Bev's Quick Slipp-ers pattern (found at crochet pattern central). I used one strand of each the solid and variegated yarns, crocheted together for extra thickness. Then I used just the variegated to crochet a small cuff.

And now... I think I should lie down until this feeling passes.

I finished my third square tonight, making two of them like this one -

I used the "Shell Square" pattern from Dayna's Crochet. The pattern printout is somewhere in the other room. If I go in there, the husband will kidnap the computer. :box I'm hoping to have the fourth one finished and mailed off at least by Monday, if not before. This weekend is my 5th anniversary and the DH has a surprise planned. :)h

It's a lot to read back through. We decided a couple of weeks ago to make an afghan for Jordan's mom. They are out of state for Jordan's treatments and it's very stressful for her mother who is probably dealing with a lot of things on her own. We're each making three 12" squares, sending them to Chelle who is joining them together for us. We're also making one extra square so that Jordan can have a lapghan for when she is in a wheelchair. The square is a duplicate of one of the three we are sending in, so it will match her mom's afghan too. Deb made slippers, which is a great idea! And that is basically it for now, until we think of something else to do for them.

Do check back in, Amber. Chelle is going to put up pictures of the afghan when she receives all the squares, and we can decide what color to join them with. I can't wait to see them all laid out.

Chelle,

Well I do believe that I mailed them the end of week before last or the beg. of last week. I guess I better dig to the bottom of my purse for the reciept. It really seemed like they should of been there by now though. If they have gotton lost I will redo my squares and get them sent again ASAP.

Well I just did some checking and I mailed them on the 20th. They went Priority...supose to be there in 2 to 3 days. What do you think? Start again or give them a couple more days, but I might not quite make it by the end of the month if I wait???? :ohdear What a sadness!

Oh no! If you put your return address on the package, it should be back to you within a few days from now. They ship it out really fast, and if they can't deliver it they send it back but it usually takes a week or maybe a little more from when it should have been delivered. We send things Priority Mail all the time, and have always had them returned if there is an error in the address. If you use Delivery Confirmation, it will put a tracking number on the package and you can see where it is online. It only costs another 45¢ on top of the shipping price.

I hope it comes back, Amy, and soon!

Yes, I did put my return address on it. Thankfully. But I didn't put a confirmation on it. :bang I thought about it, and then thought no...it will get there ok. I'll see if it arrives this weekend and then I'll go in and talk to them and see where it might be. I'm not sure where I put your address Chelle, so could you email it to me again. crochet_4fun@yahoo.com. Thanks

Joy
