Just joined this last week, I noticed a problem someone was having and thought of a cure. I usually don't join these kind of things but thought I would give it a try. I recently started crocheting again after not doing any since I was a kid, 20 years or so. My daughter wanted a poncho, they're all the rage, and I refused to spend $30 on something that wouldn't even keep her warm. I also figured I can't do any worse than what they were selling. So I've started again and have quickly become addicted. I've joined a local group of women that get together once a week to work on projects and get help if needed, and love it. Love finding new fun patterns to try and then adapt to make them fit my purposes. Hope to meet more of you soon. -- crochet smartcat

Lucky you to find a local group of crocheters. So far I can only find knitters and I don't knit. :eek
