Post Modern Purse

I finally took photos of my Post Modern Purse. It features front post dc and back post dc also. I love the lining. And the draw handle is a drapery tie back!

Thank you all for the supportive comments. The purse is my own design. It is approximately 9.5" wide X 7" high X 3" deep. This one is made from Mouzakis Super 10 Butterfly - a double knitting mercerized cotton. I'm going to try it in Brown Sheep's Cotton Fleece also.

 

I'm still working on writing up the pattern....if it works the second time, I'll be ready for the next step.

 

And yes, the drapery tassle was my moment of inspiration. Couldn't decide on a handle style that fit with the front/back post work and the shell border. The cord is woven in so that when pulled up as an handle the purse cinches in from the gussets and is closed....but still holds the shape.
