What to do with doilies

I felt that just giving a doily in this day and age is just really impractical. So this is what I did with the one I made my mom for Christmas.

I really do not want to sound stupid, but what is it? Did you frame it? I can't tell from the photo. The work is great! I am just confused. LOL!

I have doilies everywhere in my house - if there is a horizontal surface it has a doily or afghan, or coaster, or hot pad or . . . . .

Ohhhhhhhhhh, that's nice - when I first saw the pic, I thot you'd put the doily motifs onto a pillow as I've seen done before too - but this can be hung on the wall, coolness for sure.

oops, sorry. i guess knowing what it is, i couldn't tell that everyone else couldn't! yes, i matted and framed it (16 x 20 poster frame) using green posterboard ($1.75) instead of matboard ($90.00).

OK, thanks, now I see what you did and it is GREAT! Sorry, these eyes are not 20/ 20 anymore! BTW, I really liked the colors!
