I'm glad you all like it. It's a quick and easy pattern to make. I frogged it three times before coming up with the final and I did it in an afternoon. So, it's quick to make. If you want to adjust it, make the closure tabs longer (for larger head). Also, instead of doing Tunisian crochet on the sides (which I think finishes off nicely), you can pick up stitches across the tab and then do regular crochet (sc or hdc). You could make a button closure instead of velcro too. It's a flexible pattern.
