They are both wonderful. Your story of the diagonal sewed together Dumbo ears made me laugh. I've just picked up knitting, and so far what I've made has been much less than perfect.

Very nicely done. I feel your pain with the sewing. I love making stuffed animals, but I hate sewing them together.
