My grandmum's little blanket

Here's a little blanket I made for my grandmum, I just gave it to her yesterday. The flowers were fun to make, I improvised different kinds as I went along, but the little black squares almost wore me down. After this, I need to make something colourful!

But I think it came out pretty nice.

I can't believe how tired I got of the black squares, though. And sewing them together was horrible, I sometimes had to undo it twice to get them lined up properly. I'm dying to do something bright and multicoloured now, with no sewing!

Its gorgeous and the flowers do look fantastic on the black. But I absolutely agree about sewing squares, I hate it so much I haven't made a blanket like that in over 3 years!
