My first attempt at a bag! Little crooked, but still fun

It's very nice. I just made that pattern for my daughter. She wants it lined, so I quess I'll get to that sooner or later.

I think you did a great job on the tote bag...nice color! and dont worry about a little crookedness...to me, thats part of the beauty of handmade things... no two are alike!

I love it! That bag was my very first crochet project!!! I made it in pink varigated, and I was hooked! Yours is GREAT! It doesn't look crooked at all (If you want to see crooked, I can show you mine)

I had never worked with cotton, until I got on a dishcloth binge. Then I found I love cotton! The strap is way to short, but I had to improvise because I was running out of yarn. And after looking at the completed version vs the picture with the pattern, I realized that I forgot to do the sc that borders the top. DUH! Ah well, the hubby thinks I am total genius, and I am not going to tell him different. Keeps him on his toes!

These would make great shopping bags to take to the grocery store... was this an online pattern or from a leaflet?

that pattern is on the sugar n cream labels.

Or is it peach's and cream? I always mix up the two.

I am no expert on these types of bags, but yours looks great -- all the stitches look like they are holding the correct shape to me. And the color is nice and bright -- just the thing to keep the smiles going. Very nice work. :-)
