Hi from newbie

Hi --

 

I'm new to these boards. What started out as an occasional hobby has become a full-blown addiction! My grandmother got me started -- I remember her teaching me how to make a chain using apricot-colored yarn. Now, 30 years later, I'm obsessed with crocheting and have amassed a huge collection of crochet books & magazines from the late '60s/early 70s which I constantly refer to. I live in northern NJ with my husband and 2 boys (7 1/2 and 3 1/2) and am a speech-language pathologist by profession.

 

I've really enjoyed browsing the posts and look forward to being part of this community.
