Pumpkin and Turkey Scrubbie

Recommended Posts

Don't know why, but I am into scrubbies right now.

Here is a pumpkin and a turkey scrubbie.  The turkey is a pattern on Ravelry and the pumpkin is just a pumpkin pattern using scrubbie yarn.

Now this is the first time I have used tulle to stuff them with and boy does it make it hard to sew thru.

Anyway,  These will be leaving soon, as I made them for a friend as a Thank you.

Thank you.  I should of given the site for it, .  Turkey Pilgrim Scrubbie.

It is easy to make and takes no time at all.

Very nice!. I like that:).

I guess that tulle to stuff them should prevent those scrubies - stuffies from mildew. At least that is the intention for that, I think. That would not work very well with polyester faberfill inside. The water can "go out" a lot faster. After all scrubies are always being left wet. Unless they are used for display only, than there would be no problem! LOL.

Thank you all.

This is the first time I used the tulle.  I gather it is because it will dry out faster than the regular stuffing and won't lump either.

I sent them out yesterday.    Now on to my Bat.
