I'm new and thought I'd share a child's headpiece I made for a dear friend of mine when she got married. Her daughter wore this. I cut the top part from an empty ice-cream pail to make the form. The flowers are done with a #5 hook and embroidery floss, and they're all hand-beaded. The little white flowers at the top are not crocheted, as I ran out of time :D I'm not sure whether the pictures will be a suitable size for this site, so I'll provide you with the links to the individual shots.

I also did the little flowers on the waist of her dress. As you can see, it turned out really well and the little miss was quite happy with it.

 

Anyhow, I hope everyone enjoys my first submission to the site! Once I get my butt in gear I'll get more pics of some of my other projects up too :)

mish, first of all:welcome :welcome :welcome to the ville' your idea is wonderful, and the little princess is adorable. i bet she almost outshone the bride lol thats a great idea , is it your own design and idea. again glad to know ya and thanks for sharing is adorable:manyheart :manyheart
