Pom Pom Rug

I'm not sure where to post this as it's a rug, but it's for my granddaughters' room. It's the Pom Pom Rug by Ellen Gormley. It's very soft and cushy. I used Bernat Super Value for the base and the Pomp-a-Doodle yarn for the top. The girls (14 months and 2-1/2 years) seem to like it as when I put it on the floor to show them, they both kept walking back and forth across it and giggling.

Thank you for your kind comments! Actually the pom pom yarn wasn't hard to work with at all. You just crochet in between the pom poms. It was a little tricky weaving in the ends, but not really a problem.

I don't remember how much I used as I started it so long ago, but I think it was five skeins. I actually ran out and had to undo a few rows of the base.
