I am going to make a prayer shawl for a friend whose husband died in a car crash three weeks ago. His birthday is November 1 so I will try and deliver it that day or the day before.

Lionbrand yarn goes on sale at Joann's this weekend.

I'm down to the trim on one arm and the buttons for Mrs. Claus. I hit a snag on the latest turkey's wings. I may just choose an alternate path for them as I like the colors, but the pattern is not working for me.

Lionbrand yarn went on sale yesterday at Joanns so I bought the yarn needed for the prayer shawl.

I prayed through the first of four skeins yesterday and will continue the shawl today.

I have to have it done so it gets delivered on or before her DH birthday on November 1st

Mid-October update: (massive changes again)

1. Finish the jester hats - Almost done with 1st hat, two more to go.

2. Start and finish 4 pairs of FGs - 1st pair need seaming, good progress on 2nd, the rest need gauge swatches

3. Reindeer xmas display (Dad don't want it, so I am making it for myself!)

4. Beaded Bangle - Changed mind, Found a cute jacobt pattern instead.

5. Janurary 3rd 2012's sweater - a birthday adult sweater for mom, still waiting on her final decision.

I didn't do much but I am doing good with hats and FGs. I decide to save the sweater for Nov. goals. The reindeer display will be a selfish project for me after I finish the xmas gifts. I need to order the yarns for it.

I am trying to take it easy this month. I learned my lesson about xmas gift burn-outs.

Mrs. Claus is now posted on my blog.

I have to revise the Skipper pattern into a skirt and top as the one piece does not work with her arms and the shorter look does not work for the period.

I am learning to work with yarn bobbins and restarted the last of the children's afghans I have to finish for Christmas.

I found the doll afghan patterns yesterday so I can choose one for the 18" dolls. I have the yarn left over from the afghan I made for the doll's owner.

I still need to get Pilgrim outfits made for Skipper, Barbie, Kelly, the other sister, and the American Girl doll.

well couldn't finish my blanket but doesn't mean I can't work on my friend's wrap. So going to work on that so far school is going great. Again we had a debate this time on education so half of the class wanted me to remain their leader because I know what I'm talking about this was in political science this went on. In my English class I am doing well the last paper was an A the whole unit was an A so far doing good in the class this weekend will be working on my paper want to maintain that A in the class.

Started the 18" doll blanket that will match the child's blanket and it seems to be a good fit.

Started Mom's afghan and I may be frogging and looking for a new option. I'm not crazy with the look. I have some other options and it could end up as a birthday instead of Christmas if it doesn't make the finish line.

Getting the yarn bobbins tomorrow so I should be able to resume work on the last of the children's Christmas afghans I need to make for relatives.
