I used ILTY in white and navy. It measures 53" across from point to point.

Thanks! I know it's a little off still, but I haven't washed or blocked it yet. Some of the stitches in the first 5-10 rows are a little tight and it has caused it to bunch just a little. The colors alternate in this fashion:

 

5 rounds white

1 round blue

5 rounds white

2 rounds blue

 

repeat, ending with a single round of blue

 

I liked the way it made the star pop. Again, thanks for the comments! I've got loads more projects to be working on during NatCroMo!
