I think I should confess that I started this afghan at the beginning of last year!

 

Judy, your news story reminds me....last winter some guy in Grand Rapids was knitting hats and leaving them out on tree branches for people to find. He was hoping to help keep the homeless warm.

Julie, thank you for the nice card, I was real excited to receive something from someone from Crochetville, other than a swap box. I love the little heart by my name on the envelope, and like you it is always nice to make new friends. I ran inside to show my husband the card, he also was happy for me. Again thank you so much, you made my day.

 

I'm thankful that I didn't start on a new square yet, so that it can be counted toward our group squares. I brought four more skeins of yarn for my square and I even added a nice warm brown to my colors. Now to pick out a square to make and also to start dinner. See you all later.
