Ladies hat from vintage pattern

I wanted something smart rather than casual just on the off-chance I'm having a good day and get to go somewhere nice *lol* so I made this with an acrylic/wool blend Aran weight yarn & a 5mm hook. It's all sc and was very hard on my hands but I'm really happy with how it came out. I'm sorry but I can't add a link to the pattern but it is available through Ravelry if you use that site.

Excuse the phone in front of the face shot, just trust me you don't want to see my face tonight I'll try and replace it with a better one tomorrow if hubby will oblige.
