This morning I put the finishing touches to the first of Amys blankets, I will have enough squares to make a smaller blanket to be used in her pushchair too. This little lady is going to be wrapped in your love & prayers wherever she goes. Thank you all do much 002-7.jpg

I was STUNNED when I went to collect a packet from the Post Office this morning! Karen aka Hookerangel went truly above & beyond with this request for help & has made my darling niece a personalised Hello Kitty blanket :hug I know it will be loved & treasured for many years to come & thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm hoping we'll be able to visit Amy Leigh this weekend & pass on these two awesome blankets. I will try my best to get a pic of Amy with her blankets but it depends on how she is of course, she had to have an op' yesterday & I'm waiting for more details on that.

 

My dear sisters in yarn I cannot find words enough to thank you all for your help,love & support :hug

I am going to add a "no more squares required" to the first message in this thread but PLEASE don't think I'm turning away any that have already been promised!

I've had news today that Amy isn't responding to the chemo as well as she ought to be so they are adding more drugs, the Doc says its almost certain that she will need a transplant.

So sorry it took me longer than I thought to get the squares in the mail, but they are going out today, just waiting for the postman to pick them up. Hope I'm not to late and I hope they're okay.

 

I'm keeping Amy in my thoughts and prayers daily :hug, Andrea

Sissie, I haven't got squares from you yet. I think they're probably on the same plane that I sent out some squares on...lost in the Bermuda Triangle.

 

Thank you all for your continuing prayers & good vibes. Amy has been moved to another hospital & the specialists there have discovered two more tumours.

I have just heard some marvelous news, after 5 months of chemotherapy little Amy-Leighs tumour is now operable & she doesn't need a new liver after all. Thank you all so much for you love, support and good vibes and prayers!!
