I have the World's Best Mother!

This morning I received a phone call, the caller ID had my Dad's cell number. I immediately got worried because he would only use it for emergencies. Panicked, I pick up and it's my Mom. She says, "I'm at Smiley's and they're having a sale. Is there anything you need?" Now, how wonderful is that? So we chatted as she walked up and down the aisles letting me know what they had. She is an avid crocheter and yarn addict herself, and I am so lucky to have her. I'm 34 years old and she still takes good care of me!

Wow, that's great! I love it when my parents call because they see something at the store that they think I'd like (they live hours away) and they want to know if I want it.

You're never too old for your parents to take care of you. I'm 52 and my parents are always looking out for me. I'm so spoiled.
