First thread bookmarks

I made these for practice in preparation for the bookmark swap.

I used Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet Cotton for the snowflake bookmark, the color is Parakeet.

I had never seen this color before but we went to Georgetown over the weekend and they had it at a Hobby Lobby there.

Juanita, I just started working with thread for the bookmark swap and made some of the book thongs too! That parakeet color sure is pretty. I printed out a snowflake pattern but my printer cut the right border off so I didn't get a chance to try that one this weekend. I agree, these are so easy and fast to make. I'm up to 7, and figure I'll just keep going till I get tired of stabbing myself with that little steel hook. They'll make great tags on birthday and Christmas presents.
