Hi, all. I'm a student at UIUC and learned to crochet when I was very young. I wasn't very active with it until I was looking for something to do to relieve the stress of final exams. I wanted something I could do while watching movies or listening to music, so I started making baby afghans for charity. Then, my boyfriend wanted to try, so I taught him, and having a common hobby has made us almost obsessed with crocheting! My recent projects have been chemo caps for some of my mom's friends, baby blankets, and I'm now working on a side-to-side cowl neck sweater. I look forward to interacting with you all on the forum and maybe taking some classes!
