After I finished the Caplet I found the cutest coat hanger covers.

Wow those are cool ones. I've never seen any hanger covers like thoses. Is it your pattern? I want to make some with plastic bag yarn to cover some metal ones I have. It's on my to-do list...

I never thought of using plastic...wow then they would be totally recycled hangers.

Thanks Nancy.....just think I only started taking pictures of my crocheting in 2004, when a friend suggested it. I've been crocheting how long? YIKES!!!

I sure wish I had pictures of the stuff I did in the early

70's. One of these days I'll dig out my crocheted halter tops I use to sell back in the 70's......

First off, nice work...I just got a booklet of bedroom crocheting that had hanger covers and they were beautiful and similar to what you did (but in thread...) and I thought...hmmmmm, maybe, maybe (lord knows I could use a few of them in my own closet...)

 

Anyway, thanks for posting the link to the pattern because I printed that out for myself, but also that is such a cool site in general...

I'm glad someone dug this up again! I hadn't seen it the first time. Very pretty and it's now on my to-do list as well. I think I'm going to use WW cotton on mine. I've been buying and buying cotton because Michaels keeps having $1/skein sales so I'm always looking for good ways to use some of it!
