My First FBB

Great job!! I have a couple of skeins of that in the closet somewhere.....hmm. I was afraid of lining my first FBB, but luckily I saw a link to this site....

Wow!! That turned out really nice!! Never thought of using ribbon yarn. (now I'll have to give it a try). I too use Kel's tutorial, plus I add pockets to the lining.

Janet, It's beautiful! I LOVE the colors in that ribbon yarn. What I have used for closures is a ponytail elastic with no metal peice on it. I put a large matching button on one side and then stitch the elastic on the other to make the loop to go around the button.

Heather - I liked working with it but I find that I crochet very tight with that yarn. I am now working on a poncho with the same yarn. I'll let you know how that goes
