a lacy poncho

Recommended Posts

I made this poncho from a pattern in an old family Circle Easy Crochet mag.

The original pattern called for Paton's Divine, but I used Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk. It worked out to the same gauge and the Debbie Bliss yarn is lovely and softer than any other yarn that I have felt :yes

The top part is done in a rib using the "K" word ;) and the bottom (skirt part) is done in a V-stitch lace.

Right now, it's on display at my LSYS and they are contacting the publisher to try to get the pattern to sell in the store.

I want to make another in black, but make the neck longer to fold down and the skirt part longer.
