Ohhhh, I went looking and found it! I knew the short one "Half-Moon Shawl" looked a lot different and couldn't be the one. I didn't know they had 2 free ones now, very cool.

It looks sooooo almost identical to the one they sold (I made it) yet minor differences. Hah I'd be just as happy if I would have waited for this pattern

BEAUTIFUL=== what size hook did you use, since the pattern calls for a N and you used a thinner yarn? Did you double the yarn, how many skeins did you need>

Ava, I made that exact shawl but yours is so much prettier than mine was. I made mine in an acrylic-mohair blend and the stitch definition got lost in the fuzziness. Yours is just beautiful and looks fantastic with that border.

Sorry for getting back so late. I used a size 6 hook, I don't know how they determine that in American, this is Canadian size, they go by numbers, not letters......"LOL"

 

Yes, I doubled the yarn, it was too thin to use one strand so I doubled it.

Great looking shawl. Love the way you used the colors! I'm going to go look up the pattern and print myself a copy now! I've been making shawls and after seeing this I am going to add this one to the WIP's folder.
