My mom is so awesome! She bought me all the yarn to make the Graphic Granny afghan in the first issue of Crochet Today!

 

I'm so psyched.

 

The yarn came today, and I already started making motifs!

 

I got, all in TLC

 

4 skeins brownberry

2 skeins barn red

2 skeins persimmon

2 skeins butter

2 skeins light plum

2 skeins dark plum

2 skeins light celery

2 skeins country rose

 

Oh, if only I didn't have so many WIPs!!!

Oh, it's gonna take me a while - it's 30 each of 4 different motifs and I'm making it double the size in the magazine, since I have a queen size bed.

 

But I will post photos as I make progress!

 

I spent the evening organizing the yarn stash and the accumulation in the living room so I can finish up some small WIPs so I can justify working on my afghan.

 

I'll be working on the comfortghans, the 63 squares afghan (that I promised my mom I'd finish before I bought any more stuff ) and this one. I hope to finish it by my birthday next year!
