hand puppet

[Slug Love]

Hi! So this is my first post here, and my first hand puppet. I haven't been crocheting for that long, but I'm super excited with how this came out. I gave it to my younger brother (he's 18) for Christmas, and everyone thought it was so cool. It's just thrilling when you figure out how to make something that's in your head. The majority of it is Lion Brand homespun yarn, 'prairie,' single crochet.

I did come up with it! I'll write the pattern for the next one as I go that way I can share it. If you have any tips for pattern writing, that would be great.
