Crochet Hook Caddy

The pattern is from Priscilla Hewitt's site and I've been wanting to make this for a long time now. Finally it's done and most of my hooks are neatly arranged

I've been wanting to make that for a while now. My only problem is I don't use crochet thread, so I wouldn't have one of those little card board cores. Looks great! Good job!!

I would use one,,, but I bought the old Boyle stand and Susan Bates stand last year. I Love my susan bates stand.

what I like about yours you can color code them for each room that you crochet in~~~

if you dont have a cardboard core i bet you could use plastic canvas. just cut a strip and whipstich it together in a circle about the same size. it would be stif enough and it is easy enough to get.

You know, some yarn also has the core, such as Aunt Lydia's Denim which is a 100% cotton yarn. Or you could use a toilet paper or kitchen tissue core, I suppose.
