Lacy Petals

This is the first hot plate that I ever crocheted. The pattern is from Annie's Attic - Free pattern of the day - Lacy Petals

 

I didn't follow the instructions 100% but I am happy with the way it turned out. The Skill Level said Intermediate!!!!! yeah I am moving up the Crochet ladder!!!

It was April 5th

 

and I used a dc because I couldnt get the hdc stitch that it called for to look right. I also used kitchen cotton - Sugar n Cream

Your hot plate is really pretty! I love the colors a lot more than Annie's pattern used. Yours is so much nicer.

It was the first of April it came out. It was from the Potholders Aplenty leaflet or booklet also.

I gave my girlfriend the hot plate and I really expected a different reaction. Although she liked it, I thought she would of been a bit more

enthusiastic about it - oh well!!! Good thing I have you ladies here who know how to appreciate a special gift

I like it alot...looks like it would work well. I missed the pattern that day apparently or I would have printed it...oh well....
