I know how you feel. I have two closets full of yarn as well as three underbed storage boxes full of thread. I finally donated some of the over 200 pattern books I had to the local library but still have over a hundred ,not to mention three large binders full of patterns I have gotten from the internet. It's healthier than smoking or drinking so as long as I keep to a budget , who cares?

You guys blow me out of the water... Mine only consists of about 30 skeins and various leftovers. I try to only buy what I need to make an item. But I like to stock up on some solid colours for those last minute things.

I was looking at my "stash" (which I now realize is just a few skeins) and I was thinking I had all the correct colors that I needed. One each of red, white, blue, black, tan, green, and yellow, plus the varigated that I'm actually using right now for an afgahn.

 

Kahud has more of a variety than my local Wal-Mart!! And more organized!

I live in a small apartment, so I try to limit my stash. Every time I start on something new, I try to find suitable yarn in my stash, and I also often take out skeins and just try to get inspired from them, to avoid it piling up too much. But come to think about it, I have yarn in at least 5 differnt places in my two room apartment anyway, as well as a big bunch at my mum's place.

 

And I also have tons of beads, as well as several bags of fabric and old clothes that are going to become ragrugs. I could use a whole room for my stash too. I don't dream of walk-in closets, I just want a room full of yarn.
