I am a newbie on a forum and would like to introduce myself.

 

I am a 57 year old woman who lives in Northern California, loves to crochet and would love to crochet for the victims of Katrina.

to Crochetville! I'm in Northern California too. I know the boards may seem a bit intimidating at first but the people here are delightfully friendly and incredibly helpful.

 

If you look in the Crochet for Charity board you can probably find a couple of posts to help you find where and what to send for those struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

 

Also, since your new I thought I'd share a small tip with you. If you click on User CP in the upper, left-hand corner of your screen you can see posts you've replied to. I often do this when I log onto the boards because I tend to forget where a post I'm trying to follow is.
