Hi, Diane. Welcome back! We've missed you.

Hi, there, Tracy, Cara, and Wendy. Are we a bunch of night-owls tonight or what? Of course, it's day-time for you Wendy, but for the rest of us it's night-time.

Diane, it;s so good to hear from you again!:hug Pop in and visit - and I know what you mean about finishing last years' projects...that's why Krystal started another CAL:lol I have my list and WILL finish my UFO's...I hope.;)

Wendy, your ATW looks great!! How's the filet test? I'm on row 31...

Linda, are the preemie blankests the same pattern you always use? I'll have to dig that out again...I'm stuck on RRs these days for baby ghans:D

Wendy, I love it already! You always choose such pretty colors to put together. It's great!

Hi, Judy. Nope. This time they are just 14 round granny squares with a border of one row of Hdc, one row of Dc, and another row of Hdc. My concentration isn't so good at the moment so I'm keeping them really, really simple. The colors I'm putting together are what make them special this time. I'm not exactly using colors that would normally go together, but they are working out just fine. I'm using up odds and ends from here and there or left overs from this or that project. I'll take some pictures of them tomorrow.

Linda, I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the baby ghans! If I'm not doing a RR, I do just what you're doing...a big granny....

I hope you get back to feeling 100% soon:hug

38 saltines made so far - I have a way to go to catch up with you saltine making machines :lol I plan to make up some more and then start sewing together. Which is easiest to join? Start in the middle and add rounds? Or do horizontal or vertical rows? Or is it just a matter of personal preferance?

Off to work I go. Back to the saltines this evening (after I finish my row a day rows...)

Good morning ladies :yawn

Boy this 7 a.m. stuff sure does come around early :lol I'm not gonna know what to do in 5 weeks when we're back to 9. And amazingly, after all that yesterday I'm not too sore today. Of course, I did leave the heavy stuff for BD and DN :devil

Wendy - Oh I love those colors :yes Much better than I like mine.

Linda - You're just a blanket making machine :eek I need to get going on some more baby blankets. I now have a place to send them. I was contacted by the PL group in Plano about sharing patterns and they said they'd take blankies too since we have no PL group here and I don't have the strength to start one :lol

Diane - Hiya hon :hug We missed you too. No worries about making a quilt or not. You can just keep us company :manyheart

Karen - I'm joining mine in round only because I didn't map it out first. I'm thinking in rounds is good though. Seems to make it go pretty quickly.

Good morning Judy :hug How's that new puter doing?

Okay, I think today might be mainly crocheting. Maybe a little sewing if I feel up to it. I have some easy sewing to do. Alter drapes and make pillows. I can do those easy peasy. Just comes down to if I wanna make the mess or not :lol

I'm ready to start round 11 on my ATW :clap

Thanks everybody

Judy Im on row 27 of the filet.

Karen also when you make your saltines leave a long enough tail that you can then use to join the squares together, it means no weaving of ends. Your doing well so far, your very quick making them. Wont be long and you will have caught up to us.

Cara your very kind but you must know that yours looks amazing.

I'm back from the doctor. He's sending me to another specialist. Gave me some more pain pills to get me through the week. I'm to cut the protein in my diet even more. And get rid of vitamin C, calcium, and salt in the diet, too. Fruits and veggies that are not dense are okay.

I'm going to listen to an audio book and crochet and maybe take a nap.

Wow, I really love that ATW Wendy. :manyheart

I love the fact that there are some skilled ladies (and gents) out there who are able to combine different colors and designs into a masterpiece. :crocheting

Thank you for the warm welcomes. Be back after school so I can catch up with posts here and Sky CAL.

I am still adjusting to new additions on this forum such as new things in User CP and new emoticons. I so like it so far. :P

It does change things: I'm actually on nearly as much as I used to be but now it's all productive time.

I've had a quiet day here. I went to the drug store and the grocery store on a food run for our family, Rosie & John, and Andrea & her family. Rotisery chicken, coleslaw, macaroni salad, potato salad, baked beans, garlic bread, and german chocolate cake for all three families. The rest of the day has been spent listening to an audio book and crocheting. I now have three 18 x 18 inch preemie blankets completed and a fourth just barely begun.

Hope everyone has a good evening.

Yum, that sounds like it was a great picnic!

I started an ATW today and did 25 squares and have the center motif done...I'm using choco cherry, dark brown, aran and fusion (bright pink) The main color is the dark brown. I'm liking it, but thinking I might want to make another in bright colors. :badidea

Hi Tammy ~ Your colors are wonderful. Already thinking about another one...Cara has another saltine addict. :lol

Hi there. I am back to Crochetville after a long absence. :)

Unfortunately, I don't think I am able to do any happy house blankets this year. For 2008, I decide to finish what I started last year or years ago.

I really missed you all, wonderful support and friendships I have here at the forum. I will hang out here and cheer ya all up on all the work done on the beautiful afghans.

Welcome back, Diane!

Linda, I hope they figure this out soon. :hug

Karen ~ WTG on so many squares! I love the colors you showed us and can't wait to see them together. :crocheting

Wow! I missed lots of posts...I convinced myself to stay off the computer until I got the whole downstairs cleaned. Almost made it :lol - the kitchen is going to get a quick cleaning. :blush
