Shamrock or clover? :) WITH PATTERN now

I was thinking of shamrocks and I made these. If they have 4 leaves then you are lucky finding them, they'll bring you happiness :) So some of them I used for bookmarks, the other are for my friends to give before their exams ;)

 

They are very easy and quick. I found the way to make them in 3 rounds, without attaching the leaves.

Here is the pattern:

 

Shamrock

Ch 6, join.

 

1)Ch 3 (as 1st dc), 2 dc, ch 2

{3 dc, ch 2} 3 times, join

 

 

2)Ch 3, dc in first st, 2 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, ch 2;

{2 dc in each of next 3 sts, ch 2} 3 times; join.

 

 

3){ch 3, tr in same st, 2 tr in next st, tr and dc in next st, dc and tr in next st, 2 tr in next st, tr in next st, ch 3, sl st in same st as last tr, 2 sl st in ch 2 sp} 4 times.

Join.

 

Stem: Make chain as long as you want for stem, then go back with sc in each ch. Finish off.
