From San Antonio

Hi there! Newbie checking in from San Antonio, home of the NBA World Champion Spurs! GO SPURS GO!

 

My name is Jennifer, proud mama to Emily (5 1/2) and Jakey (1 1/2) and happy wife of Chad.

 

I have been crocheting regularly since my Step-Grandmother-In-Law (that's a mouthful!) reintroduced me to the craft a year ago. I am one of those people who learned as a child but never got the hang of it until recently.

 

I love to crochet purses mainly, but find myself making the same baby afghan over and over again for Jakey since he goes through them like crazy. He loves the feel of his blankie so he'll stick his fingers and toes through the holes, chew on it, step on it, pull it, and basically tear it apart. I'm working on the 3rd replacement. (At least someone appreciates my hard work! )

 

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing ideas.
