I'm sorry...I don't mean to be rude or offend anyone but...you're blind? And not only do you crochet but you design? I am just so impressed! May I ask how you do it? Forgive me if it is none of my business but I am so intriqued!

Hi, I don't mind any questions about myself! I was seven when the doctors found out that I had a brain tumor. They only gave me a 4 percent chance to live with surgery. If no surgery, I would have died a slow two month death. I was the fourth person to have the surgery and the only one to live. I credit that to all of the prayers by thousands of people of many different churches in Arizona and who knows where else.

Because I could see until almost eight years of age, i remember a lot of things. However, some things are of a child's memory! Anyway, I remember color and shapes and so on, so I "vissualize" and I can design. Some times my husband helps, but often it is just me. He is good at coming up with ideas, though! Many years ago I made the alligator from "Safari Friends" book and was double-dared to make a life-sized one. Well, I did and now have a 5 and a half foot one! Later I designed an 18 inch one, a 48 inch one and a 10 inc one! I make-over other patterns to suit what I want, I design clothes for dolls just by holding the doll and getting a picture in my mind. I have now crocheted for 30 years and would be lost without it! If anyone wishes to e-mail me, my e-mail is: bbrown@doglover.com Happy crocheting!

HI I printed out the pattern and started it and it is beautiful i am doing mine in soft white yellow and blue. I cannot wait to get this done. The hearts are so perfect. I have a new grandson on the way so i will give it to them. I did do one thing different at the beginning I chained 105 and sc a row before the actual pattern. I thought it gave it a solid starting row before the actual pattern and it blends in with all of the other sc rows. I cannot wait to get it done. I have a night blindness and that can eventually will lead into blindness. i enjoy crocheting and i am willing to test patterns for anyone i have been so sick with puenioma and crojulee had a pattern out there that i was going to try but i didn't do to the illness but i feel bettter now and i am ready to tackle testing. soon i will have my awareness ribbone square blanket done to get pics posted

Thank you brenda for the pattern and i cannot wait to get it done.
