I whipped these up this evening,with a size 5 hook and size 10 thread.

This is my own pattern I just wrote it up as I went along.

Do you think the flowers may be a little too big?

Ann's Miniature Slippers

 

 

Materials

Size 10 thread..4 colors of your choice

I used cream,wood violet,lavender,frosty green

Size 5 steel hook

12" length of ribbon

hot glue

Basic sts..sl st,sc,hdc,

Size..approx. 3"

Begin with magic ring

Do not join,place marker in last sc of round

Slipper

Using cream

Rnd 1 6sc in ring

Rnd 2 2sc in each sc (12)

Rnd 3 1sc,2 sc around (18)

Rnd 4 sc in next 2 sc,2sc in next st (24)

Rnd 5 work even

Rnd 6 sc in each of next 3 sc,2 sc in next sc (30)

Rnd 7-11 work even

Begin working in rows

Row 12 hdc in next 22 sts leaving next 8 sts unworked

Row 13 ch 2 turn hdc in next 21 sts,ch 2 turn

Row 14-27 repeat row 13

Row 28 ch 1 turn with right sides together fold, matching sts

sl st thru both sts. (11 sts) This will form the heel.

FO weave in ends.

 

Trim

With cream sl st in seam at heel ch 1 sc in same st and in each hdc

around to 1st sc of toe sc dec in next 2 sc,sc in next 5 sc,sc dec in next 2 sc,sc in remaining hdc,join. FO weave in ends.

Lace edging

With Lavender

Begin with heel facing you sc in joining and in next sc,* sc,hdc,dc,hdc,sc in next sc,sc in next 2 sc* repeat from*

ending with sc,hdc,dc,hdc,sc in last st, join, FO.

 

Flowers

with wood violet make 2

Using magic ring

6 sc in ring, join to first sc

ch 6 draw up a loop in 2nd ch from hook

and in each chain leaving all loops on hook,yo and bring thru all loops sl st in same sc. 1 petal made. repeat for remaining 5 sc.

 

Leaves make 2

With green chain 13

sc in 2nd ch from hook work as follows for remaining chs (hdc,2dc,hdc,sl st,sl st,hdc,2dc,hdc,sc,sl st in same st as last sc)

FO weave in ends

 

Finishing

Glue flowers to leaves and place on toe of slipper

glue top edge of sides of slippers together placing one slipper slightly

lower than the other.

Using ribbon glue each end of ribbon and place at seam on heel.
